Dear Comrades and all Party Members!

This is our jubilee Community Report, number 100, and it is my pleasure to write a few words for you – our dedicated community, players, and supporters of the game.
I am very glad we can finally announce the release date of the long-awaited Early Start DLC. You can check out the trailer for more information:
Now, we can talk more about the steam locomotives, which are one of the most exciting new mechanics. We will be introducing several steam locomotives – some light, some heavy, some old, and some new.

Alongside steam locomotives, we’re also introducing coal as a fuel type for these machines (if you have fuel management turned ON). Additionally, if you have water management enabled, you will also need to supply water to the coaling stations. These newly added stations now handle both coal and water – both resources must be present to refuel the locomotives. Check out the new coaling stations!

As we introduced in the World Maps DLC, the map had an unrealistic scale. While many players found it interesting, others said it was a pity that more realistic scales, like 1:1 or at least 1:2, weren’t included. Also, many of you were asking: Where is Russia? Well, don’t worry – this DLC brings two new maps with a realistic scale from Russia. One is Moscow, and the other will be St. Petersburg. You can already check out how Moscow looks!

And finally, on April 10th, the Bit Awards 2025 ceremony took place – celebrating the best Slovak games of 2023 and 2024. Since Soviet Republic 1.0 was released last year, we were among the nominees – and we won! We received multiple nominations and took home the award for "Best Game Design", as well as the main prize for "Best PC/Console Game."

Thank you to all our players – the entire community has helped us fine-tune this expansive game. Titles like this are never truly finished, but your feedback makes a huge difference. A big thanks as well to the Slovak Game Developers Association (sgda.sk) for supporting Slovak game development.
We’ll do our best to aim for a global nomination with our next projects!
That’s all, folks – have a great Saturday and weekend!

If Moscow (biggest city in europe) gets added as a playable map, we surely need to get bigger roads than just two lanes. to atleast have a chance at trying to quelm the upcomming overloaded road structure of the city....
Work continues on new models of AN-12 and IL-18 aircraft with more regular shapes and textures.
